Midwest Blender Company

Golden Dagger September 1st, 2023

September 4th, 2023

Midwest Blender Company’s goal is to create a memorable atmosphere. The Golden Dagger was at a max capacity. The one they created at their sold-out headlining show can be described in these few words: Rowdy and Sticky. Despite their relatively short time as a band, they are building up a strong following and perfecting their sound.

With a night of well-executed covers including: “Writing a Novel” by the satirical lyricist Father John Misty and “505” (a personal favorite) by the masterful Arctic Monkeys, the iconic * drop * (you know the one) felt fresh and had everyone jumping.

They debuted an original tune called “Wet Eraser.” Whose chorus was catchy enough that the crowd was able to belt it back at them. Most, if not everyone had a drink in hand and was grooving along. It’s evident that once their EP is released, their fans will definitely be sipping it up (a flavorful smoothie).
